Seeking LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST, THERAPIST, or POSTDOC
The Cognitive Therapy Institute, APC (CTI) is an outpatient psychotherapy and training clinic specializing in the treatment of all anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, and other psychological problems for adults, adolescents, and children (individual, couple, and group therapy). The position offers an opportunity for an experienced CBT psychotherapist or postdoc to increase competency in cognitive conceptualization and evidence-based CBT protocols through weekly 1:1 case consultation with James Shenk, Ph.D., Founding Fellow and Certified Trainer/Consultant with the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies (academyofct.org) and monthly training/consultation meetings with other CBT therapists. Experience or interest in also leading CBT group therapy is desired. Join our friendly, supportive team beginning 1 day/week, expanding to 3 days or full time most likely within 2-4 months. Liability and most office expenses are covered. Commission-based salary, administrative support (office manager), sick leave, and benefits including Simple IRA contributions for half-time employment (after waiting period).
